A BIT ABOUT ME

This little shop is ran solely by me. From procurring the best blanks, picking colors, choosing designs, tying & dyeing to marketing, website building, packing & shipping orders etc. Every aspect of my business is done by me! :) I work on tie-dye & business in my free time, as a mom, there is not much free time but I make it work because I am passionate about creating tie dye.

My ultimate goal & dream is to work from home for myself at my own pace & rhythm doing what I love, creating art that feeds & fuels my soul & also allows me to bring in extra income while continuing to be the anchor of our family & holding down the fort. I want to always be home & available for my children. If you choose to purchase from my shop, you're literally helping support my dreams. 

I've always been very creative. I have explored many mediums of art & I enjoyed them all but nothing has ever captivated me like tie-dye. Textile art is my passion. I love the beautiful chaos of it all but I also really love the technical & scientific side of tie-dye, from precise folds to dye placement, color theory, gravity, heat, moisture, chemical reactions etc. The lists goes on! Ive always had a very technical mind but I also I have a very creative side. Tie-dye allows me to merge both sides of my brain & I love that!

I find so much inspiration everywhere I look. Mainly from nature, the sky, the trees, the ripples of the water, rocks & mountains. Creating tie-dye based off of nature has really taught me to appreciate browns & neutrals. Even just the way the light shines through a glass & creates a prism of colors can spark an idea. Lots of really simple moments that make me smile, nature in general is so beautiful & rich in inspiration. I also find lots of inspiration from many other forms of art, plus the many fellow tie-dyers I admire.

I really hope that my art vibes people's spirits higher. I hope my work brings zest into peoples lives & allows them to express themselves just as making it allows me to express myself. If my tie-dye makes people smile from the inside out & do little happy dances, then I have created something that trancends materialism. And I couldnt really ask for anything better!
